James Skarzenski

The second generation owner responsible for the growth spurt of the business following the passing of his father; Stan in 1981. Jim propelled the business to not only a local household name but in 2015 was ranked 88th Independent Garden Center in the U.S. Jim retired from day to day operations in 2022 but can be seen many days chatting with current staff and customers on site while checking on the status of crops in the production facility. He still resides in Erie with his wife of almost 30 years, Cindy. He is the father of two children Josh and Jenna.
